Welcome to the official launch of Lasair Hungarian Vizsla.
Lasair was established from a genuine passion for the Hungarian Vizsla and Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla breeds, their history, versatility, intelligence, and exceptional companionship. Our focus is on breeding sound, stable, athletic dogs that retain the qualities which have made these breeds admired around the world for generations.
Our breeding program places strong emphasis on temperament, structure, health, trainability, and preserving the traditional working heritage of the breeds. Whether in the field, the show ring, or at home with family, we believe a Vizsla should be a capable and balanced companion.
At Lasair, our dogs are raised as part of everyday life. Early socialisation, confidence development, and careful placement are central to our approach. We believe responsible breeding is about long-term stewardship of the breed, not simply producing litters.
This website has been created to provide information about our dogs, upcoming plans, puppy enquiries, and the breeds themselves. Over time we will continue to add updates, photographs, litter news, and educational resources for both new and experienced owners.
